The Collection Goal

The core collection consists of:

• One certified MS70 bullion American Silver Eagle from every year beginning in 1986

• Both the Type 1 and Type 2 American Silver Eagles issued in 2021

• Coins certified by PCGS or NGC

• A permanent collection rather than inventory intended for resale

Proof, burnished, privy-marked, and other special issues may eventually become separate companion collections.

What Does MS70 Mean?

MS70 is the highest numerical grade assigned to a Mint State coin under the commonly used 70-point grading scale. A coin receiving this grade must show no post-production imperfections visible under standard magnification.

Although every American Silver Eagle contains one troy ounce of fine silver, an MS70-certified example is collected for more than its metal content. Its grade, year, design, certification, and place within the larger series all contribute to its significance.

Every Great Collection Begins Somewhere.
